Forgive me.

I wandered through the fields for a long time. My will to fight against the constant danger chasing me had diminished, so I ran. I eventually stumbled across civilization! Finally, I might be able to lock myself away from the dangers of the new world! But it could never be. We are the real dangers in this new world! I had not realized that until I met you. We exchanged no words. I don't even know if you were scared, but I knew I was. I always thought that when we finally met, we could treat each other like humans, just like we all used to. But I put myself before my humanity. I raised my rifle and shot you as you ran away from me in fear. I knew I hit you, but you did not fall. You just kept on running. I could have sworn you were holding something that could do me harm, so I acted in that way. Something I will always regret... I chased you, but could not find you. The one thing that I had on my mind was removing you from the new world. But thankfully I lost you. But you have not liberated yourself from what I have done to you. I locked myself away and rested, knowing that you could be out in the wilderness: cold, hungry and injured. I might have even destroyed some of your belongings when I shot you. But know this! As I rot in shame, I pray that you find a way. I know you're out there! No matter how badly I hurt you, please! Live on! Forget about me! Live life to it's fullest... Please...
